Here is an article about the story of 125+ families whose dream of life, buying a home, was shattered by one greedy builder in Bangalore whose company name reads as "Balaji Developers" located at Whitefield, and proudly boasts about one on going project(for years!) "Balaji Pristine" and another upcoming by name "Balaji Elegance" and "Balaji Casablanca".
Just like anyone, I too dreamt about buying a own shelter for my cute family. After an intensive search, finally zeroed in on Balaji Pristine, 5/2 Main Road, Whitefield, Bangalore. On the day of handing over the cheque to Mr.Ventatraman of Skandesh Marketing, I was on Cloud 9 with imagination spreading wings 360degrees. But on that day, only I knew a little about the shock that awaited me.
Balaji Prisine is, in fact, the first project by Balaji Developers and this is the very reason for 125+ guys to chose this project amongst host of other options. We all were under the impression that since Balaji Pristine being the first project, builder would take utmost care to every single detail of the construction in order to present it as a show cause project for his future business development.
One has to visit the project in person to have a first hand impression about the quality of construction Balaji Developers have delivered to their clients after robbing them of huge amount and their dreams.

As every coin has two sides, there are few wonders as well in Balaji Pristine, to name a few,
Its been a year since 95% of the families moved in and yet to have the following promised amenities,

End of the day, this 8 storied Balaji Pristine stands tall on Whitefield Main Road spreading the message of greediness, inability and recklessness of the builder Balaji Developers.
Thanks to democracy in India that gives courage to the builder to start another project "Balaji Elegance" despite delivering a flop incomplete first project Balaji Pristine. Balaji Developers have our full confidence of not completing this project in every sense for the foreseeable future.

Update on 3rd April 2012: Still no signs of Clubhouse, GYM and swimming pool... BTW, Balaji developers has gifted the community a wonderful, state-of-the-art stinking, non-functioning, flawed STP as a return favour of milking the owners a nice money in the name of amenities... now the residents are coughing up a huge amount, to the tune of million rupees, to get it rectified... thanks to Balaji Developers...

- Poor construction - Free natural shower for those who are in 8th floor... thanks to the builder for not charging this facility!
- Poor quality tiles - helps you to decorate your house every now and then by laying new tiles!
- Paint that would fade in 6 months - helps you to reflect your moods by frequent painting!
- Pathetic tiles in balconies, toilets and kitchen - helps overall economy of the country by the way of buying them all again!
- Unfinished walls in balconies - setting a new standard in construction industry... a worthy note to Prestige, Sobha, Brigade, etc!
- Inferior quality door locks and some sanitary fittings - helping small scale industry at the expense of poor client!
- A drive way at par with potholes filled Bangalore roads... certainly a competition that would give BBMP a run for their money!
- Finally the state-of-the-art STP - helping Doctors in Whitefield to prosper!!!
